Cinch™ Anchor
This device is approved for use in the United States.
The soft silicone anchor's innovative retention sleeve mechanically enhances its holding strength, which is significantly higher than that of conventional silicone anchors.1 This feature helps reduce the probability of lead slippage—the main cause of lead migration. And its strong grip eliminates the need for medical adhesive, allowing for easy repositioning.
In addition, the Cinch anchor's unique extended distal strain relief is designed to reduce the potential for lead breakage and migration. When passed at least 1 cm into the fascia, it helps reduce fatigue fractures and lead migration. And its low profile helps improve patient comfort and minimize the potential for skin erosion.
To provide physicians even more control, the anchor contains barium sulfate, which makes it entirely radiopaque for easy identification under fluoroscopy, and its color provides excellent contrast against the tissue, making the suture grooves easily visible.
The Cinch anchor is compatible with St. Jude Medical's trial, permanent percutaneous, and paddle leads. It is not compatible with Axxess® leads.
